OH Graham Marley (M 75) took the plunge this Sunday, joining a team of Furniture Makers led by their Master, Jessica Alexander, to abseil 100 metres down Portsmouth’s iconic Spinnaker Tower.

The challenge is raising funds for The Furniture Makers’ Charity, which supports people across the furniture industry who are facing hardship, while also helping to support education, training and excellence within the profession.

Graham is no stranger to a challenge. In 2016, he joined fellow members of The Furniture Makers’ Company for a 450-mile charity cycle from London to Bordeaux. This time, he’s swapped two wheels for a rather more vertical descent!

As well as his long-standing involvement with The Furniture Makers’ Company, Graham is also Secretary of the Haileybury Veterans Rifle Club, continuing his involvement with the wider Haileybury community.
