The fallen are listed alphabetically by surname in the year of their death. Where known, the month of death is also included.

1914-18 War

Nearly 70 OHs from Trevlyan died during the Great War. The Roll includes 4 MCs and 3 DSOs.

One of the casualties was Lieutenant Alexander Lyon (Tr 1901).

Alexander was one of five Lyon boys to attend Haileybury, of whom three fought and died in the Great War. A Lieutenant in the 1st Bn Gordon Highlanders,

Alexander was mentioned in despatches. His body now lies at Bertry Communal Cemetery at Nord.

Alexander was aged 30 when he died.

1939-45 War

Nearly 30 OHs from Thomason died in the service of their country during WW2.

One of the Roll is Lieutenant [E] Geoffrey – Denys – Wright, (Tr 1926), MBE, DSC. A submariner with the Royal Navy, Denys was awarded the MBE (Military); DSC;  Defense Medal; 1939-45 medal with Oak Leaf; 1939-45 star; Africa Star; Atlantic Star; King George V medal and King George VI medal.

Operating in the Mediterranean, Denys served on HMS Triumph, sinking at least 10 vessels, including an Italian submarine. Triumph was sunk, believed struck by a mine, off Antiparos, Greece in 1942; none of her crew survived.

Denys was 29 when he died.
