Old Haileyburian Krishnav Handa (Tr 19) will be taking on the challenge of the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 12 April in support of the Single Homeless Project, a London-based charity dedicated to preventing homelessness and helping vulnerable people rebuild their lives.
Since leaving Haileybury, Krishnav has enrolled at University College London, where he has been enjoying both his studies and the opportunity to gain international experience. Over the past year he has travelled widely, spending time in Scotland, China and Kenya gaining valuable industry experience. Alongside this, he has explored many other parts of the world, including South Africa and India, taking more than 40 flights and experiencing a variety of cultures and business environments.
Speaking about his motivation, Krishnav said:
“Studying in London has made me increasingly aware of how serious and widespread the issue of homelessness is across the city. Seeing this first-hand is what motivated me to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of the Single Homeless Project, a charity that provides essential support to people experiencing homelessness and helps them move towards stable housing and greater independence. Being able to raise both awareness and funds for such important work means a great deal to me, and any support, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated.”

Krishnav is hoping the Haileybury Society community will support his fundraising efforts as he prepares for the race in April. You can donate via his Just Giving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/krishnav-handa-1
Every contribution helps the Single Homeless Project continue its vital work supporting people experiencing homelessness across London.
We wish Krishnav every success with his fundraising.
