Every year we allocate independent travel grants to deserving young OHs. We’re delighted to confirm that our first one of 2025 for £500 is to Freya Nates (Alb 15).
Freya sent in a comprehensive application detailing her exciting travels this year which will include NZ, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam and Bali. She plans to study local individual styles and fashions and will investigate first hand native patterns, vibrant colours and shapes and will compare contrasts between the different areas she visits.

Freya has recently completed her MA in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh, where she immersed herself in creative co-curricular societies and worked as a freelance artist in order to develop her personal artistic style. Through this she has recognised her passion for sustainable fashion and the arts and is applying for a further degree course to study Fashion Design in London.
