James Chalk (Tr 05) has launched Lighthouse Learning, a small business to support British seafarers taking the MCA commercial exams.

James has identified that two of the most important topics in the MCA commercial exams is buoyage and collision regulations; if you stumble on these in the exams without preparation it is unlikely that you will pass.
Through the innovative use of models, Lightship Learning enables students to practice different scenarios with lifelike models, giving them signficantly more confidence in the exam room.
The representational models are created to be accurate reflections as to what is likely to be experienced both in an exam and whilst at sea.
