The Haileybury 1862 de luxe Silk Tie
Product Details

This tie was specially commissioned to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Haileybury's founding as an independent public school in 1862 and reflects the emblems of all those schools and institutions which over the years have amalgamated with the school. It is priced to match the founding date of the school itself!

The tie features four motifs reflecting the following:

  • The hearts and wings of Haileybury, reflecting its Latin motto, Sursum Corda ("lift up your hearts")
  • The Sword and Anchor of the United Services College, later becoming the Imperial Service College (which amalgamated with Haileybury in 1942)
  • The winged lion of St Mark of St Mark's School, Windsor (which merged with USC in 1906)
  • The triquetra (the symbol of the Trinity) of the Army School (which merged with the ISC in 1912)

Uniquely, this tie is available to anyone with a Haileybury connection, including: OHs; parents of current pupils; and past and present staff.

Woven in pure silk, this tie is a magnificent reflection of Haileybury, its history and those who have shaped its development.
