NEW EVENT: Clay Pigeon Shooting Experience

We are delighted to introduce a brand new event, a Clay Pigeon Shooting experience at Sussex Sporting, one of the South East’s premier shooting grounds.

This event is open to everyone, from complete novices to experienced shots. Expert instruction will be provided, making it an ideal opportunity to try something new or refine your skills in a friendly and relaxed setting.

Key Details

• Shooting spaces are strictly limited to 20 participants.
• Spectators are very welcome – you may bring additional guests to watch.
• All spectating guests must be named in the booking comments section.
• Equipment and instruction will be provided for those new to shooting.

Lunch is at guests’ own expense, and spaces must be confirmed at the time of booking if you wish to join us.

Important Booking Information

When booking, please ensure you:

• Confirm whether you are shooting or spectating
• List the names of any guests in the booking comments
• Indicate whether you will be joining the lunch

Places are limited and expected to fill quickly, so early booking is strongly advised.

Details On The Day

The shoot is set to start promptly at 11.00, so please aim to get to the rendezvous point for 10.15, the shooting ground is a short drive from there.

Our session will be around 2 hours and include:

• Welcome and safety briefing;
• Gun familiarisation
• Eye dominance and gunfit checks
• Participants then shoot three rounds of 10 targets learning the techniques necessary to hit a range of novice targets.
• Each participant will be progressed at a pace commensurate with their individual ability, making sure everyone can improve and enjoy themselves.
• Full instruction throughout
• £75 per person to include clays, cartridges, gun hire, PPE and full instruction.
• For those of you who have expressed a wish to bring your own guns then please note the venue must supply the ammunition. So please notify us as soon as you can of the shotgun bore you have so that Sam can ensure he has the right ammunition for you. It will be essential that you bring your licence with you.
• There are no formal facilities for food or drink but we will provide soft drinks and snacks, or you may wish to bring a flask with a hot drink or snacks if you want to.
• There is a loo!
