The Haileybury Society is more than just an alumni network, it is an international network of members who support each other, support the wider community and support local and international charities in a wide range of fundraising initiatives.
Our dedication to charitable initiatives reflects the ethos of every Old Haileyburian: that of Spirit of Service.
Benevolence campaigns
The Haileybury Society undertakes a major biennial fundraising campaign for particularly worthy causes, such as that for OH Rob Butt (B 86) (left).
Members’ campaigns
Supported by our community, OHs of all ages regularly take part in fundraising for local, national and international charities.
Supporting Haileybury
The Haileybury Society supports significant projects within the school, including sports projects, the Archives and Library.
Supporting OH Sports Clubs
The Haileybury Society is proud to support a number of OH sports clubs, a hugely important part of our community.
Supporting Young Haileyburians
The Haileybury Society also provides Travel Grants to support the cultural enrichment and/or educational development of Sixth Form pupils and OHs below 25.
Supporting the Haileybury Youth Trust
The Haileybury Society gives an annual grant to the HYT to assist its work helping some of Africa’s most marginalised people.
The OH and ISC Lodge
The Old Haileyburian and Imperial Service College Lodge comprises around 40 individuals, each dedicated to the charitable support of others.
Member welfare
The Haileybury Society is often contacted to support a member suffering temporary hardship. We assess each request appropriately and are pleased to be able to assist where we can.
Supporting local charities
Haileybury is a signficant presence in the local community of Hertford, Ware and Broxbourne. Where their aims are educational, we are delighted to be able to help local charities with grants of support to assist them achieve their own charitable objectives.
