The Haileybury Society was delighted to hear recently from Sub- Lieutenant Andrew Miller, RN (LS & L12)
Andrew commissioned from Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, last year and is currently serving as a Regular Officer in the Royal Navy.
As part of his work, Andrew recently spent 5 weeks attached to HMS President in the heart of London. HMS President is the largest Royal Naval Reserve unit in the country, maintaining a permanent Royal Navy presence in London.
“I have been working alongside the Royal Naval Reserve during my time here”, says Andrew. “This has included visits from visiting warships, and manoeuvres on the river Thames with the Metropolitan Police, Marine Policing Unit”.
One such visitor was fellow OH the Venerable Luke Miller (Ha 79), Andrew’s father, highlighting once more the family’s spirit of service in serving the capital and its people.
