On Saturday 5th October a dozen OHs from across six decades met up in Edinburgh for lunch at Ten Hill Place Hotel in the Surgeon’s Quarter.
After gathering over a glass of fizz we sat down to hear from our President Lizzie Graham (K 76 & Alb) who shared details of the Society’s work in the past year, including our other events particularly those involving young OHs, OH women and several OHs being back on campus for Foundation Day two weeks earlier.
Lizzie told everyone of the very welcome re-engagement with the new Chair of Governors and the new Master of Haileybury. She paid particular thanks to Dr Toby Parker, Director of Heritage and Archivist at Haileybury, who attended this lunch as our guest, for his work over many years in maintaining good relations with the Society and promoting its connection to the school.
Over a delicious lunch of soup, roast pork and chocolate souffle, conversation flowed and Haileybury memories were shared with much laughter and enjoyment.
Our Thanks Thank you very much for organising yesterday’s lunch – it was a splendid occasion!
