On February 25th 2024, Madeline Kuncewicz (Ha 13) will be running the Brighton Half Marathon to help support her cousin’s young family who have just lost their father to cancer.
As Madeline writes, “last week, my cousin’s husband Maciej, aged 36, passed away after a 5-year battle with cancer. He and my cousin, Aldona, were highschool sweethearts and my sisters and I were bridesmaids at their wedding. They have four young children aged 8, 7, 5, and 3.
To relieve some of the financial strain of this loss, my family have set up a GoFundMe for Aldona’s family and I will now be running the Half Marathon to support them. “
