The Second World War, 1939-45

Approximately 180 former pupils of the ISC died in the Second World War; their number includes 10 DFCs, 6 MCs, 4 DSOs and 3 DSCs. Pupils who transferred to Haileybury in 1942 and who died during WW2 are listed on the Roll under Lawrence or Kipling Houses.  Those members of the USC who subsequently joined the ISC when the two schools merged are listed on the USC Roll of Honour here.
