The Private Dining Room at the Hong Kong Football Club, courtesy of Brian Wong (M 87), was the wonderful venue for a special reunion in Hong Kong on 19th October.

The event was made particularly memorable by the attendance of Guests of Honour Roger (former staff 1978-2015) and Coleen Woodburn who were in Hong Kong to visit their son Robbie (Tr 11). Special gifts of a Haileybury Society Buff, coaster and pen were given out to all attendees as a special momento of the occasion.

A great group occaion

Having so many guests makes for a great group occaion and this reunion did not disappoint! The full guest list for the evening included Roger (former staff 1978-2015), Coleen Woodburn, Eddie Tsui (H 86), Vince Ng (M 92). Angela Liew (Aby 89), Selina Mak (ABY 00), Kenneth Wong (BF 87), Derek Tam (Tr 86), Brian Wong (M 87), Conrad Lee (BF 85), Hassan Curreem (BF 88), Ronnie Pao (BF 93), Dominic Law (E 87) and Robbie Woodburn (Tr 11).

A special thank you

The Haileybury Society is especially grateful to our very special HK overseas secretaries Eddie Tsui (H 86) and Vince Ng (M 92) who have represented the Society for many years and to whom we are so very grateful.

‘What an epic evening!’ reported one of the guests; ‘Such a fun reunion!’ said another. ‘Thank you to Roger and Coleen for bringing us together.’
