Tom Billings (second left) added to his silverware at the US Western Open on 2nd March 2025 with a very convincing 3-0 win over Old Etonian Will Hopton. We send Tom our congratulations for this and to both him and Hannah on the very recent birth of their baby boy!
The Old Haileyburian Rackets Society meet regularly at Queen’s and are a strong and proactive group. They drew 2-2 v Queen’s Monday Club in March and have a match v the HAC coming up. Regular players include Deane Pennick (B 77) Chairman, Paul Tripp (L 76), Rob Walker (K 89), Dylan Kent (B 12), Mark Farmiloe (B 93), Simon Robert Tissot (Th 72), and Dave Wilson (BF 03)
Haileybury pupils are also continuing the great Rackets tradition with the first pair (Jennings and Tilbury), only losing in the semi-finals to the eventual winners Repton in the Public Schools’ Rackets Championships.
